Goa, July 4 -- RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Saturday criticised the Bihar government over its earlier decision to downgrade the security cover of him and former chief minister Rabri Devi, calling it a "grave mistake". His remarks came after the state restored Z-category security for the couple.

Speaking to reporters, Lalu said the government had been forced onto the "back foot" after reversing its decision. "Bahut Galti Kiya Hai (They have done a grave wrong)," he said when asked about the earlier downgrade of their security.

According to a notification issued by the Bihar Home Department, both Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi have now been provided with Z-category security along with bulletproof vehicles. The move comes nearly a month after thei...
