Goa, Oct. 11 -- Out-of-favour Indian fast bowler Navdeep Saini has advocated for Mohammed Shami's return to the national team, drawing inspiration from Bhuvneshwar Kumar's recent T20I recall for the upcoming New Zealand tour.

Highlighting Bhuvneshwar's domestic and IPL success as motivation for players aiming for a comeback, Saini questioned why Shami remains overlooked despite his consistent performances in domestic cricket. Saini emphasized that Shami has served Indian cricket immensely, won matches single-handedly, and continues to toil hard, making him fully deserving of another opportunity in the national setup.
