Goa, Oct. 7 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) co-convener Saurav Das formally intimated the Delhi Police on Wednesday about the group's proposed October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar, calling for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and reforms in the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Das said the group had submitted a formal letter at the Parliament Street Police Station, informing police that a large crowd was expected. He said the group had also completed the required formalities and submitted an undertaking, while seeking police cooperation with law and order and traffic arrangements.
