Goa, Sept. 28 -- The Delhi government has announced a series of measures to control pollution and traffic congestion ahead of the winter season, including stricter enforcement of the "No PUC, No Fuel" policy and the addition of 150 electric buses.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the new buses will take Delhi's total e-bus fleet to more than 700. The city currently has 588 electric buses in operation. The government will also conduct a crackdown on end-of-life vehicles at all 500 petrol pumps equipped with automatic number-plate recognition cameras.
