Goa, April 10 -- Advocate Amit Palekar, during his formal induction into the Congress party, strongly denied allegations of betrayal against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stating that he did not "cheat" or act against the party's interests.

Speaking at the event, Palekar clarified that his exit from AAP was not voluntary in the conventional sense. According to him, he was asked to leave the party after repeatedly questioning its position on potential alliances with opposition parties.
