Goa, Aug. 20 -- Goa Congress state president Girish Chodankar alleged that offshore casinos act as "ATM machines" for the ruling BJP government. He claimed casino owners provided financial aid to construct the party's new state office.

Additionally, Chodankar demanded a comprehensive study to relocate offshore casinos operating in the river Mandovi. He noted that their operations have severely restricted public access for local residents by blocking several entry routes along the promenade.
