India, May 25 -- The 2024 Census ACS 5-Year Survey reveals that the size of the Black or African American population living with disabilities varies drastically based on state geography.
Southern Concentrations of Disability
Texas currently leads the nation with 500,950 Black individuals reporting disabilities. Other states in the southern region also show substantial figures:
* Georgia: 458,911
* Florida: 414,956
* North Carolina: 319,735
* Alabama: 217,754
High Figures in Coastal and Industrial Hubs
