India, Oct. 26 -- Ric Flair was taken to the hospital after he fell outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, according to TMZ, hours after he told fans he could not fly because of a blood clot in his leg, as reported in a post he shared on X.

According to TMZ, Flair was at Wagamama in Tampa on Friday morning.
TMZ reported the following sequence of events:
* Flair got up from the bar and left his phone and drink behind
* He walked across the street
* He suddenly fell outside and hurt his face
