India, June 15 -- Historical health data reveals a substantial long-term increase in the average lifespan for both women and men in Cote d'Ivoire since the 1960s.

Initial Decades of Progress In 1960, female life expectancy was recorded at 39.42 years, while the male average was 35.227 years. Consistent improvements were noted over the following years, and by 1975, women reached a 50.114 year average. Men followed a similar path, reaching 46.198 years in that same year. By the mid 1980s, these figures had climbed significantly, reflecting a period of sustained growth in national health outcomes.
