Brief Summary: Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders attributed to non-progressive disorders occurring in the developing fetal, infantile brain, affecting posture, movement development, and activity limitations. It occurs in approximately 2 to 2.5 per 1,000 live births. The prognosis for gross motor function among children with CP is extremely variable.
