Brief Summary: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is now the standard procedure for elderly patients with severe aortic stenosis. This patient group is characterised by increased frailty, multiple comorbidities and limited physiological reserve, exposing them to an increased risk of intraoperative complications.
