U.S., Oct. 20 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07881744) titled 'Prediction of Intrapartum Fetal Compromise After Elective Induction of Labour' on Oct. 04.
Brief Summary: Each fetus has a different metabolic capacity at the onset of labor, and in cases of an imbalance between fetal demands and placental oxygen supply, fetal hypoxia occurs. In this scenario, and to avoid permanent fetal damage, a cesarean section (CS) for intrapartum fetal compromise (IFC) might be needed to minimize the potential consequences of sustained hypoxia.
