U.S., Oct. 20 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07880821) titled 'Perioperative Mirogabalin for Pain Relief After Modified Radical Mastectomy' on Oct. 12.

Brief Summary: This study aims to evaluate whether perioperative mirogabalin can reduce postoperative pain and morphine consumption in female patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer.

Postoperative pain is common after breast cancer surgery and may increase the need for opioid medications such as morphine. Although mirogabalin has been used to treat certain types of nerve pain, evidence regarding its effectiveness for acute postoperative pain remains limited.
