Brief Summary: This study examines recognized occupational hernia claims using existing national administrative records. The purpose is to describe how often hernia-related occupational claims occur and to evaluate their distribution according to worker characteristics, type of hernia, geographic area, and occupational factors. The study will also examine patterns of disability and work-related consequences associated with these claims.
