Brief Summary: Although sarcopenia is commonly seen in stroke patients with a prevalence rate of 42%, relevant research studies are more in geriatric population rather than in stroke patients. Beside conventional functional physiotherapy, improving blood circulation, improving cellular oxygenation and reducing inflammation by MM therapy is supposed to improve muscle atrophy after stroke, thus enhancing the functional recovery.
