Brief Summary: Acute uncomplicated diverticulitis is often treated with antibiotics, although current evidence shows that antibiotics are not always necessary. This study will evaluate whether a more standardized approach to treatment can reduce unnecessary antibiotic use without increasing the risk of treatment failure.
