U.S., Sept. 18 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07825805) titled 'Hand Position, CPR Quality and Rescuer Comfort' on Sept. 11.
Brief Summary: This randomized crossover simulation study will compare two hand positions used during chest compressions: interlocked fingers and non-interlocked hands placed one on top of the other. The study will evaluate whether the non-interlocked hand position is non-inferior to the interlocked-finger technique with regard to chest compression depth, and will compare the two techniques in terms of CPR quality, rescuer comfort, fatigue, pain or discomfort, and perceived hand-position stability.
