U.S., Feb. 28 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT07440602) titled 'From FAST to FAST BEE - Video-Based Stroke Mnemonic Pilot' on Feb. 23.
Brief Summary: Stroke is a medical emergency, and early recognition of symptoms can improve timely activation of emergency services. Many public stroke-awareness campaigns teach the FAST mnemonic (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call emergency services), but FAST may miss some symptoms more common in posterior circulation strokes, such as sudden loss of balance or sudden visual disturbance. FAST BEE is an expanded mnemonic (Face, Arm, Speech, Time, Balance, Eyes, Emergency) designed to address this gap and reinforce emergency action.
