Brief Summary: This study compared two standard methods for minimally invasive caries removal in children: conventional mechanical excavation and Er,Cr:YSGG laser preparation. The study aimed to evaluate the reduction of Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus spp. in dentin using PCR analysis.
