Brief Summary: The combination of amoxicillin-clavulanate (AC) and a fluoroquinolone (FQ) is currently recommended for the treatment for outpatients with hematologic malignancies presenting with chemotherapy-induced fever (CIF), if the expected duration of neutropenia is 1000/mm3.
