Brief Summary: Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the anus is a rare malignancy. For localized anal squamous cell carcinoma , definitive chemoradiotherapy is the standard treatment. Patients who do not achieve complete response (CR)or experience recurrence require radical surgery with permanent colostomy.
