Brief Summary: This Phase 2, open-label, multicenter study will evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of axelopran in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with PD-L1 positive recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (R/M HNSCC). Axelopran is a peripherally acting mu-opioid receptor antagonist being developed to address opioid-induced immunodeficiency, a condition that may impair anti-tumor immune responses and reduce the effectiveness of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
