Brief Summary: Lumbar herniated nucleus pulposus (HNP) is a common cause of chronic low back pain and radiculopathy. Transforaminal epidural steroid injection is commonly used as an adjuvant following pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) treatment but is associated with potential steroid-related adverse effects.
