India, June 4 -- National health outcomes in Bhutan have seen a transformative shift since the mid twentieth century as longevity figures for both genders show consistent upward trajectories.

Significant Advances in Female Health Bhutanese women have seen their life expectancy more than double over the last 63 years. Data from 1960 recorded an average female lifespan of only 37.328 years. This metric climbed steadily through the decades, crossing the 50 year mark in 1981 at 50.11 years and reaching 60.711 by 1995. The trajectory continued upward to hit 74.965 years by 2023.
