Haridwar, 18 Aug: the Vigilance Establishment today arrested Regional Youth Welfare Officer Kuldeep Kumar red-handed while accepting Rs 35,000 as bribe for advancing a government grant file related to floriculture. The officer, son of Ramesh Chandra and a resident of Adarsh Colony, Laksar, in Haridwar, was presently posted at Narsan block in Haridwar. He was apprehended during a trap operation after verification of the complaint.
