Mussoorie, 23 Jul: A major tragedy was averted on Thursday afternoon here. A young man was critically injured after suddenly falling into a deep gorge near Zero Point, a famous tourist spot. Upon receiving the information, a fire service team rushed to the scene and successfully rescued the youth by descending into the gorge using ropes, despite challenging conditions.

According to reports, a person arrived at the Mussoorie Fire Station around 2:25 p.m. on Thursday to report that someone had fallen from the main road into a deep gorge in the Zero Point area.
