Mussoorie, 14 Apr: A tragic event today left the entire community shaken. A young man, who had climbed on to the roof of a house to inspect the property, came into contact with a high-tension power line and died on the spot. According to Mussoorie Police, Manoj Das-a resident of Khanehari-was staying in the Bata Ghat area with his friend, Mukesh. During this time, the two went up to the roof of a house to inspect the property. It is reported that a high-tension power line ran directly over the roof; upon coming into contact with it, Manoj Das suffered severe burns, lost consciousness, and collapsed on to the roof.
