DEHRADUN, 25 Jul: Uttarakhand State Tax Department has registered a significant improvement in GST revenue collection in Uttarakhand, with net State GST (SGST) collection rising by 24 per cent during the April-June 2026 period compared to the corresponding period last year. Non-GST collection increased by 12 per cent, while the overall tax collection recorded a growth of 22 per cent.

The figures were shared during a departmental review meeting chaired by Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu on Saturday. The meeting reviewed the GST collection, tax compliance, departmental performance and the department's future action plan in detail.
