Mussoorie, 21 Apr: Land subsidence and widening cracks in the roads in the Landour area here have heightened the concerns of local residents. Given the continuously deteriorating situation in the region, residents have demanded that the administration take swift action on a priority basis. According to locals, the cracks appearing on the road are widening day by day. Rainwater and sewage are seeping through these cracks, undermining the foundations of nearby buildings and thereby increasing the risk of a major disaster.
