Dehradun, May 21 -- A serious dispute between tenant Kabir Singh and the owners of Apartment E-502, Maxwell Residency, Sahastradhara Road, has escalated into allegations of assault, wrongful dispossession and threats to life. Kabir Singh, who has been residing in the apartment since June 2019, has claimed that he had regularly paid rent of the rented accommodation until December 2025 but he was compelled to deduct repair expenses from the rent after repeated failures by the owners Saurabh and Sudha Negi to reimburse him for urgent structural repairs and maintenance.
