DEHRADUN, 20 Jun: Uttarakhand Police has been conferred with the prestigious 'Institutional Performance Award for State Police' by the Government of India for its outstanding and effective performance in passport application verifications during the financial year 2025-26. The award was presented on the basis of national-level evaluation of police verification processes across the country.

At a ceremony held at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi on Friday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar handed over the award to Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Administration, AP Anshuman, who received it on behalf of Uttarakhand police.
