Dehradun, 30 Mar: A shocking incident of violence in Uttarakhand's capital early this morning claimed the life of a retired Army brigadier after an alleged dispute over overtaking between two vehicles escalated into firing, raising serious concerns about law and order.

The victim who succumbed to his injuries has been identified as 74 year old Brig Mukesh Joshi (Retd) who was out for morning walk when this incident took his life. The locals however are questioning the police claim that the episode was merely a case of road rage.
