Dehradun, Sept. 23 -- Indian workers seeking employment abroad increasingly face severe perils due to deceptive recruitment practices. Unscrupulous agents exploit the desperation for high-paying international jobs, leading to human rights violations, financial ruin, and legal jeopardy.
The perils faced by Indian workers are of several kinds. Forced Cyber-Slavery: fraudulent syndicates lure tech-savvy youth with "online roles" only to traffic them into remote scam centres in Southeast Asia (e.g., Myanmar, Cambodia).
