Mussoorie, 2 Aug: Chaos ensued on Sunday at New Market, located on the bustling Mall Road, when an out-of-control jeep suddenly skidded off the road and crashed straight into a restaurant. Goods worth lakhs of rupees inside the restaurant were damaged in the incident. Fortunately, customers and staff managed to escape in time, averting a major tragedy.

According to eyewitnesses, the jeep driver had parked the vehicle by the roadside and was unloading goods. Meanwhile, a teenager sitting inside the vehicle inadvertently tampered with the handbrake (or gear).
