Dehradun, 9 Apr: The Dehradun district administration has issued stringent directions regarding the registration and renewal of ultrasound and all radio diagnostic centres operating or proposed in the district. The administration has made it clear that no facility will be permitted to function without full compliance with prescribed public safety standards. District Magistrate (DM) Savin Bansal has stated that for the first time in Dehradun, approvals of operation are now being granted only to those diagnostic centres that strictly meet comprehensive safety and regulatory norms, marking a significant shift towards prioritising public safety in healthcare services.
