Almora, 3 Aug: A case of human-wildlife conflict has been reported from Salt Block of Almora district where a newly-wed woman was killed following an attack by an unidentified wild animal in Ghodidhar Tok of Dabhra Saural gram sabha. Her body was later recovered from the forest, triggering panic and anger across the region. The forest and the police teams reached the spot and have begun investigation, though the exact identity of the animal involved has not yet been established.
