Dehradun, 12 Aug: The first ever special workshop on the care economy for senior citizens and persons with disabilities was organised in Dehradun today under a joint initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and the Social Welfare Department of Uttarakhand. The workshop deliberated on systematically developing care services in the state, linking them with the mainstream economy and creating new employment opportunities.
