Maharaj pays courtesy visit on HP Governor; Discussion held on Kishau Dam Project

Dehradun/Shimla, 4 Jun: Uttarakhand Minister of Tourism, Public Works, Irrigation, Rural Construction, Religious Affairs and Culture, Satpal Maharaj, paid a courtesy visit on Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta at the Raj Bhavan in Shimla on Thursday. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various important issues, including the proposed multipurpose Kishau Dam Project on the Tons River, a major tributary of the Yamuna.
Satpal Maharaj stated that the Kishau Dam Project is expected to provide irrigation facilities to approximately 97,076 hectares of land through the utilisation of 1,324 million cubic metres of water. In addition, the project will supply 617 million cubic metres of drink...
