Dehradun, Aug. 12 -- Uttarakhand Sub Area & 127 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Ecological - Garhwal Rifles, in collaboration with Red FM, conducted a Special Plantation Drive under the national campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" in the vicinity of Bindal Bridge, Chakrata Road, today.

Major General MPS Gill, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Uttarakhand Sub Area, participated in the campaign by planting a sapling. Station Commander Brigadier Ram Singh Thapa, Colonel Pratul Thapliyal of the 127 TA Ecological Battalion (Garhwal Rifles), and other officers also took part in the drive.
