Dehradun, 25 Jun: Security has been placed on high alert along the Uttarakhand-Himachal Pradesh border following tensions linked to Nihang Sikhs, with police and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel deployed in the border area. Authorities have stepped up deployments in view of a declared march by members of the Nihang community, and heavy police presence has been reported across the state's frontiers.
