Dehradun, 15 Oct: Several people from different walks of life, dignitaries and officials met the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), at the Lok Bhavan here on Thursday. Those who called on the Governor included former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', IMA Commandant Lieutenant General Nagendra Singh, Director General, Intelligence, Abhinav Kumar, Chairman of the Hemkund Sahib Management Trust Narendrajit Singh Bindra, and Chairman of the Uttarakhand Waqf Board Shadab Shams, among others.

During the meetings, they congratulated the Governor on his successful tenure and appreciated his guidance, contributions and efforts towards public service in Uttarakhand.
