Dehradun, 8 Jul: Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) met Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Technical University, Prof (Dr) Tripta Thakur, at the Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday.

During the courtesy meeting, the Vice-Chancellor briefed the Governor on the university's academic and research initiatives, as well as its efforts to strengthen the role of technology in the overall development of Uttarakhand.
