Dehradun, 10 Jul: A training programme on "Conservation and Sustainable Management of Forest Ecosystems" was organised by the Forest Research Institute (FRI) here, today, in the FRI Board Room for officers and personnel of the Indian Army. Lt Col Manoj Gurung and Maj PC Mishra and other 45 military personnel attended the training programme.

On this occasion, Director, FRI, Richa Mishra, in her inaugural address, emphasised the importance of integrating environmental conservation with defence activities.
