Dehradun, 3 Mar: As part of 'Jan Aushadhi Week', a free health camp was organised in Jakhan, here, today. The health camp witnessed participation of nearly 70 people, out of whom 68 patients were provided medical consultation and essential medicines. The beneficiaries included 31 women, 28 senior citizens and nine other citizens.

It may be recalled that 'Jan Aushadhi Week' is observed every year from 1 to 7 March across the country. This week culminates in 'Jan Aushadhi Diwas' on 7 March. This year's theme is 'Jan Aushadhi - Affordable and Trustworthy', with the extended message "Jan Aushadhi Sasti Bhi, Bharosemand Bhi - Sehat Ki Baat, Bachat Ke Saath".
