Dehradun, 20 Mar: The Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA), in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority, Government of India, has initiated a series of tests to strengthen the state's early warning system. The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure that weather forecasts and disaster-related alerts reach the public promptly and effectively, thereby minimising potential loss of life and property.
