Mussoorie, 25 Jun: The administration and the Public Works Department (PWD) have taken a significant step toward resolving the long-standing issue of illegal parking in Mussoorie.

Work has commenced on installing a divider along the centre of the busy Motilal Nehru Marg to curb the unauthorised roadside parking of vehicles. Locals have breathed a sigh of relief and welcomed this initiative. Residents state that Motilal Nehru Marg had been grappling with illegal parking problems for years. The road often narrowed due to taxis and other commercial vehicles parked along the sides, leading to persistent traffic jams throughout the day-a situation that worsened significantly during the tourist season....
