Mussoorie, Sept. 22 -- The Congress party has raised the issue of social representation regarding the five councillors nominated by the government to the Mussoorie Municipal Council. Congress Women's Wing President Jasbir Kaur, senior Congress leader Upendra Thapli, and former MLA Jot Singh Gunsola have objected to the fact that no one from the minority or Scheduled Caste communities was included among the five nominees. They argue that all sections of society should receive representation in local bodies like the municipality.
