Dehradun, 28 May: Officials have asserted that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's initiative has made the verification of life certificates for pensioners far easier and more transparent. With the use of digital technology, pensioners can now complete the process online from their homes, sparing them the inconvenience of repeated visits to offices.

The state has nearly 1.5 lakh pensioners, including over 22,000 in Dehradun. To ease verification, the 'Jeevan Pramaan' app and Aadhaar Face RD technology are being employed, enabling pensioners to submit their Digital Life Certificates (DLC) online.
