Mussoorie, April 23 -- Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today conducted an on-site inspection of the Bailey bridge currently under construction on the Mussoorie-Dehradun route and directed officials to expedite the work. He explicitly stated that, in view of the upcoming tourism season and the Char Dham Yatra, all major routes must be repaired in a timely manner to ensure that travellers and tourists do not face any inconvenience.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) and the National Highway Authority to construct a second Bailey bridge parallel to the one currently being built on the Mussoorie-Dehradun route.
