Dehradun, 5 Jun: Global Climate Society organised a special programme at Nehru Colony here today on the occasion of World Environment Day. Vice Chairperson of the Uttarakhand Culture, Literature and Art Council Madhu Bhatt whose post holds a rank equivalent to a minister of state was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme aimed to raise awareness about environmental protection in the rapidly changing global scenario and to remind people of their responsibilities towards nature.
